This is soooooo adorably chic. From bunnies to 'staches to whim-tastical flowers. I love the Wallwear by Nea.

Cutout Wastepaper Basket

You know, if it were me, I'd have a hard time putting trash into this beautiful cutout wastepaper basket by Matali Crasset and leave the crumpled paper balls on the outside too!

Woodland Shades

I have seen these all over magazines and blogs but I never tire of the chandeliers by Nicolette Brunklaus. I've got my eye on that bottom left one...just perfect over the kitchen table!

Wednesday Hump: Vintage Buttons
How to get over your Wednesday hump? These ceramic, vintage buttons by Veronica Buttons make me a believer in two things to getting the task done: 1. simplicity and 2. don't sweat the small stuff.

Geographic Pillows

I adore these hand embroidered pillows by Wendy Gee that canvas the map...from Chicago to Boston to Fire Island. Of course, my favorite one has got to be the California one!

Wednesday Hump: Novelty Dimsum

Sundays were always reserved by my family for dim sum and the bite sized treats and MSG satiated us into complacency. They may not be edible, but these felt creations by Do Little Design just might help you get through the week in time for your own dimsum Sunday!

Spring has Sprung!

Bulbs, mini-sprouts, a patch of moss and bud vases come to mind when I think of the advent of Spring. These little jewels from Napa Style are simple ways to herald the warm sunshine weather!

Yuken Teruya
I had this in my bookmarks and tagged it "beyond clever." Artist Yuken Teruya rocks the toilet paper roll with botanical cutouts.

Paper Towel Tea Towel
One of the things we've done in the studio to be more eco-friendly is using cloth dish towels instead of paper towels. I think these tea towels made to look like lined sheet paper would be the perfect addition for the team!

Eco-friendly Silhouettes

Jenny Lee Fowler's leaf silhouette has been making its way around blogs lately and I just couldn't resist posting up her other creations. I love the watermelon rendition, especially that it's uber neat and eco-friendly.

Super Cute at Urban Outfitters

Japanese designers and products always make me think things like "crazy/genius cute."
First, a master level paper project...not only do you endeavor to craft the sushi set, but after it's "built" the fish will flop mechanically on its paper cutting board. Then there is this cat camera...it comes in a cat canister and meows and flashes its eyes at you when you take a picture...again, just too darn crazy cute. Order these online from Urban Outfitters!

Vivienne Tam: Laptop Clutch

It's an understatement to say that I am a little addicted to my laptop. My shiny, happy little Mac was all that I needed until I saw HP's designer laptop clutch by Vivienne Tam. A laptop that doubles as a clutch! It's small enough to fit into a purse and weighs in just under 2 1/2 pounds.

Reflections on Illy
I love these collector espresso and cappucino sets by artist William Kentridge for Illy. If you take a close look, he has illustrated the effect of the images "reflecting" from cup to saucer!

Seraphine Cage
This is a hand-cut seraphine cage. What exactly is a seraphine cage you ask? I don't know...except that it is described as depicting a romantic dream world and it looks so beautiful and intricate I would love to hang one in the corner of my bedroom.

Ladies Who Lunch Box
Our "Ladies Who Lunch" Box is a little lunch box tin filled with notecards and we had such fun creating it. Don't be fooled by the name though...it's also for "Ladies with a Cause" because we donate portions of proceeds to Women's Health Organizations. Via EatMeDaily.com, I was thrilled to see other lunchboxes up for charity. Gourmet Magazine held an auction of lunch boxes designed by culinary legends and stars such as Alice Waters and Mario Batali...so cool!

clockwise from top: Alice waters, Martha Stewart, Mario Batali, Tom Colicchio

Simple Pleasures: Alyssa Ettinger
With the start of the new year, I have been craving simplicity. I'm recycling old sketches and drawings into new, natural white frames and have been eyeing simple, white bud vases. I love how these porcelain replicas of milk bottles by Alyssa Ettinger are so clean and fresh and would love to put them as a trio with the glass bottles (also below) on my kitchen table.
