Wedding Placecards and Programs

The wedding of my brother and future sis-in-law, Jess, is right around the corner and Sunday was spent prepping her programs and placecards. While the work of designing and printing were left to me, I thought I'd share some of the fun and affordable parts of embellishment that we did together as a group at the Paper Studio.

Jess chose a design from our Town and Country Wedding Album which was customized to fit her purple color scheme. With fabric hydrangeas from the craft store, the gals plucked while my sister and I glued.

For the aisles of the ceremony, we strung some of the remaining programs and created blossom medallions (little cardboard disks) to be attached and hung from the aisle chairs.

Little pearls make great accents for your placecards.

And because Jess is a sugar addict like us, we used sugary *gumdrops as placecard holders.
*They're a bit sticky, so we'll finish assembling them the day of the wedding. Thanks to an efficient and overqualified group, adding these personal touches cost pennies and took only a few hours. We even had time left to go and watch the Olympics!

how fun! the custom color and pearls add such a nice dimension to the invites and place cards, of course my mouth is watering from the gumdrops. :)
